A shadow strikes; the light defends
The dark begins to rise
Sharp black spikes; moonlight transcends
A war among the skies

Darkness successful; the light starts to dim
An unbalance begins to form
The shadows are stressfull; all appears grim
Is there no end to the storm?

The shadow halts; there is a bright glow
The dark victory no longer within grasp
Blackness faults; the lights grow
Hear the cheers and the gasps

The dark falls back; the light shall shine
But the losses not ignored
Shadows cease attack; light divine
Once again the balance restored
